Nearly landed

The eyes are on the farmers these days and pressure boosted regarding climate discussion. Hå municipality has put their ambition high for their agricultural industry; feeding Norway, new energy solutions and improve industries, with the slogan „Handle lokalt thenke globalt“ in forefront.

The ambition with this project is to explore Jærens possibilities of renewable energy production. With research, and test site in Hå municipality the intention is to look deeper of how local production of energy could lead to new energy patterns in Jæren.

Now the research site is nearly landed - And just continious work untill the final hand inn - GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

  1. I like your super-power-map explaining the tactics of your information in Jæren. Also I like your very clear mapping of where you are locating your structures, and especially the "addition-subtract-equals-diagram" that explains how you found your research sites. Keep up the good work!

Ps. Would it be possible to put these algae-walls along the highway to catch CO2?

  2. Dear Snædis
Your slogan for Hå kommune "Handle local, think global" relates nicely to Tarald Omas challenge at our studio in Ona Lighthouse.
He stated that only a new consiousnes on food production globaly will put a pressure on the Jæren Agricultural scene, making it more ambituos. Now introduced by you! I also like the set of actors and institutions that you introduce. Your new cartography( under 2. envisioned energy production) of Jæren unfolds a new capacity in the productional landscape that is a completely new appearing Jæren: the landscape is charged with new energy from your reading of it.
When I discused on the white board with Simona I introduced that every farmer, every farm property can be seen as a possible laboratory in her Agricultural Park. Also in your concept the introduction of The school of Knowledge, The Science Centre and the Evocable Research Fields set the farms and the farmers in such a new position; laboratories in a new resource concept for this whole experimental field, as partners, players and actors in a grand research. Now I look forward to your project, how you land this - be daring and experimental. Good luck to you to
