This is a project I did before starting at AHO. It is situated in a popular recreational area close to my home place in the north of Norway. Every winter storms are washing ashore driftwood from abandoned fishing villages and Siberian timber from Russian cargo ships. This is used for big bonfires at the sea each summer. The idea was to use this resource in another way, creating common place for all the users of the area.
It may be linked to the discussion in Ellen`s lecture about the embedded value of things.
