Portfolio - a school in groruddalen

This is a little project I did in the beginning of my third year studying at UMB. It's a school in Groruddalen (close to where Maya lives), and my assignment was to create a new outdoor area for the children to play. The existing "playground" is asphalt, so there was a lot of potential!

My concept was creativity - letting children be creative in an environment that is different, and where they have to decide themselves how to play. The shape of the different elements is based on the human body, for example the muscles, sceleton, blood, lungs and so on...
