Tomato Producers in Jæren has taken up competition with imported tomatoes and serve this winter Norwegian tomatoes in heated greenhouses.
Norway's largest tomato producer Kåre Wiig in Orre in Klepp municipality produces this winter between five and ten tons of tomatoes for the Norwegian market each week.

ReplyDeleteKeep up your observant eye. Is it a new desert appearing, as we have had an image exchange on? Or is this a path to follow? If you do a comparative research on Holland you will find whole territories covered with glass like this.
Colonising is a phrase related to urban growth that is used in many ways, especially in Dutch utrbanism related to their Green Heart (which is surrounded by Delft, Rotterdan, den Haag and Amsterdam). Check it out- May be The Jæren Territory can be rethought through the metaphor of colonies! That would be a MARVELUOS concept. Keep up.
